Guarantee policy

Guarantee date and registering

All the components have a two-year-guarantee, except diodes and batteries.

• Diodes guarantee is ten-years long
• Batteries sold with the flashlight are guaranteed for 6 months. Batteries sold individually are guaranteed for 500 recharges or in failing, two years maximum.

Any reparation or substitution made during the guarantee time will not make the date longer.

Guarantee reach

Barbolight guarantees the integrity of all the lights and ensure the reliabilty in extreme situations: inmersion resistance until 200 metres, 20 ATM (EN 60529: IP68M) and resistance to impacts (MIL.STD 810F “DROP TEST” and EN 50102-IK10). Some models also count with ATEX certification for potentially explosive atmosphere (EN6007-I5.2003 II3G Eex IIC T6 IP68).

So, any light during the guarantee time will be mended or substituted. Damages caused by abuse, negligence or bad-use are excluded, particularly:

• WRONG POSITION OF THE BATTERIES
  
• The lanyard supplied with this torch is designed as a means of retention only. It is not designed to be load bearing and therefore caution is recommended if the torch is to be suspended from any other point than the wrist
• Opening the torch during the inmersion
• Components manipulation
• Attempt to open the torch parts
• Inappropiate recharge of the batteries
• Impacts from an unacceptable use
